Race 1 (400m)

(5) HURRICANE CAT is quick and, if her apprentice can get her out in terms, she should go close with her light weight.

(2) HOLDS THE KEY gets first time blinkers and looks the Miller stable elect.

(9) NO FILTER is way better than her last effort in the Group 1 Computaform Sprint and gets first-time blinkers.

(6) DONQUERARI is seldom far off them and can feature.

Race 2 (1,200m)

All are first-timers barring (2) INTENSITY, who started at long odds on debut. Richard Fourie rides. Watch the betting.

Race 3 (1,200m)

(2) DARK MATTER made a promising debut against males. That form could prove a lot better than what it appears, given I'm A Fireball's subsequent disappointing effort in the soft.

(1) ROYAL KAILANI raced greenly on debut and is likely to improve from the best of the draw.

(9) CARTEL QUEEN and first-timer (11) KIM KAY could be worth following in the market.

Race 4 (2,000m)

(7) MOCHA BLEND has a touch of class and won her last two with plenty in hand.

(8) FATAL GEM comes with solid Cape form and gets first-time blinkers.

(12) SHE'S A BOMBER is progressive and, although taking on strong opposition, she can finish in the money.

(2) HAT'S QUEEN stays the trip well and was game in the Group 2 Wilgerbosdrift Oaks last time.

Race 5 (1,400m)

(1) CAFE CULTURE and (7) QUESTIONING last met with Lucinda Woodruff's charge a length clear of his rival and also a winner over the distance.

(5) GLADATORIAN has been giving away chunks of weight at recent starts and, although he takes a jump in class, he is fully effective over this trip.

(3) ROYAL AUSSIE looks held by these two, given his last showing, but has been trying further in his previous starts.

Race 6 (1,600m)

(7) OXALIS GOLD put a useful field of males to bed in the Byerley Turk at Hollywoodbets Scottsville at her last start.

(11) SPUMANTE DOLCE has a big reputation. With a tongue-tie fitted last time, she showed her better form in the Group 1 Empress Club behind Cape Fillies Guineas winner Fatal Flaw.

(2) MON PETIT CHERIE boasts smart Cape form for Brett and James Crawford and has a favourable draw.

(14) GIVE ME EVERYTHING goes for five on the bounce. Drawn the widest, but still has a big say.

Race 7 (1,600m)

(5) EIGHT ON EIGHTEEN won the Group 1 Cape Met and the Group 1 Cape Derby with close-up finishes behind One Stripe over the "mile". Likely favourite.

(4) FIRE ATTACK won the Group 1 Champions Cup, beating Cup and Group 1 Betway Summer Cup winner Royal Victory.

(3) COSMIC SPEED lost narrowly to Main Defender in the Hawaii Stakes. At home over this trip.

(7) ISIVIVANE is way out of contention on handicap ratings. He could be the surprise.

Race 8 (1,200m)

(2) RODEO DRIVE comes with solid Highveld form. With the best of the barriers, she could be one of the better bets on the card.

(11) LOCK AND KEY is a smart filly who showed up well first run back from a lengthy break. But the draw is against her as is (12) KHETHIWE'S DESTINY, who has her third run after break and should strip at her peak.

(3) THAT'S MY BABY can make marked improvement. Keep an eye on the market.

Race 9 (1,400m)

(13) RUN FOR COVER will not have it easy from his wide draw but he does have Andrew Fortune in his favour.

(7) FUTURENAIRE made headway in shedding his maiden, when fitted with a tongue-tie.

(10) BURNING MAN has been consistent since joining new yard. Drawn wide, but loves this trip.

(4) SUPER FAST has a light weight and a much better draw this time around.
