Race 1 (1,250m)

(6) DAWN'S EARLY LIGHT ran a lovely race behind Bel Canto Dream on Feb 15. He drops in trip for this maiden plate. If he can build on his last performance, he will be hard to beat.

(2) UNDERCOVER LOVER ran much better last time. There should be no excuses from a good draw, he must be respected.

(9) KEEP HAPPY ran a fair race on debut behind Rahhabba despite a poor draw. With some luck in running, she could improve and trouble them in the finish.

(4) REGINA TAMARA ran a much better race on Dec 22. On her best form she could earn some money.

Race 2 (1,160m)

Last-start winners (2) CRYSTAL GROVE and (1) ARASHI concede weight to maiden rivals but their experience will stand them in good stead. The latter overcame a slow start to make a winning debut and it should pay to follow her progress. The betting should provide clues to the newcomers.

Erik The Red youngsters (5) RED PENNY and (3) KING HARALD make particular appeal on pedigree. Follow the market moves.

Race 3 (1,600m)

(5) LET IT BE SAID quickened up really well to win a good race on Jan 25. He is extremely progressive, he should love the step-up in trip to 1,600m. With some luck in running, he will be hard to beat.

(4) RICH FOLKS HOAX powered home to win well in his last start. He will be stalking the speed from a good draw. He can win a race like this quite easily.

(6) FUTURE TURN has run two good seconds in succession. He is honest and he tries hard, include him into all bet types.

(2) FATAL GEM ran a fair race in the Grade 3 Summer Fling Stakes on Jan 25. She should enjoy the drop back in trip to 1,600m. On best form, she can be competitive.

Race 4 (1,400m)

(7) PUMPKIN PIE ran on well to finish second on debut over 1,160m. With experience aiding, any improvement over this longer trip could see him go one better.

Fillies (9) CAPE SAFFRON and (10) WEARINGOFTHEGREEN, thanks to a handy 3kg sex allowance, can trouble the selection.

(1) SEVENTH FLEET is open to improvement after being gelded and has scope for progress.

Race 5 (1,400m)

(9) ROCKAROUNDTHECLOCK improved second-up. The step-up in trip should unlock further improvement from this gelding.

(6) NEW WORLD has run two fair races up the straight at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth, staying on well late behind Malmesbury Missile on Feb 5. If he handles the track and the turn, he could be some value.

(4) SUPPOSEYOU'VEHEARD ran super to Ireland Forever on debut. Should improve nicely with every start, include him in all bets.

(5) BETTER MAN was well beaten on debut behind the talented Parental Guidance. He should improve in his second start.

Race 6 (1,400m)

Experienced (1) TIPPERARY and Highveld newcomer (2) SHEETS AND GOGGLES have the form and experience to play leading roles.

(6) ARTIC SILVER ran a career-best third over track and trip last time returning from a break. With further progress, she should feature prominently in the outcome.

(4) INTRO fits a similar profile and warrants respect.

Race 7 (1,000m)

(8) TRIPPING THUNDER has run two great races up the straight at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth, he drops in trip to 1,000m, and the blinkers stay on. Can win if he can beat the wide draw.

(4) HERITAGE RIDGE stayed on well behind Flying Finley on Feb 11. She has been fairly consistent through her career. Richard Fourie has been booked to ride this filly from a good draw.

(5) SUGARBUSH is much better than her recent run behind Happy Wives. If she can reproduce her debut run, she could be a threat.

(1) GIMMEATHRILL has been rested and gelded. If he does not need the run badly, he could be competitive.

Race 8 (1,160m)

Progressive (4) GREEN SAPPHIRE filled the runners-up berth last time in her first appearance at this level and need only repeat that performance to fight for honours.

(2) ALESIA'S LOVE is closely matched on that form and also open to improvement.

Promising (6) HONG KONG has earning potential too.

(3) GREEN FLASH had legitimate excuses for finishing down the field last start. So she should not be hastily written off.

Race 9 (1,400m)

(4) VICTOR HUGO stayed on really well for second behind It Is My Time in his last start on Jan 15. Form is excellent, and the blinkers have been fitted. Very hard to beat from a good draw.

(8) FUTURE FREQUENCY was gelded on Feb 10. He is much better than his last start behind Ahead Of The Facts, he will need some luck from a tricky draw, but is the danger to Victor Hugo.

(11) SHOW OFF ran a great race on debut behind Jet Force. He will love the step-up in trip. Unfortunately the wide draw will make life tough for him. Will be running on late.

(7) CHASINGTHERAINBOW did not have much luck in running last time. He must be respected on his best form.

Race 10 (2,000m)

(1) QUEEN OF LOVE concedes weight to all after copping a seven-point penalty for winning over 1,600m in her last start. However, she is the best-weighted runner and only needs to run to her rating in her first outing beyond 1,600m to emerge victorious.

(5) KEY WORKER and (4) ANCIENT WISDOM will have little issue seeing out 2,000m and could expose any chinks in the selection's armour.

(10) TUSCAN STAR is likely to improve stretching out to this trip.

Race 11 (1,500m)

(1) KLEINZEE ran much better on Feb 5. She absolutely loved the step-up in trip to 1,400m. From a good draw, she commands respect.

(4) WEHAVEASITUATION is as honest as they come. She will have a good each-way chance again.

(7) OCOTILLO moved up well behind Englefield Green on Jan 18. She is a good-looking filly who keeps improving with every start. She should go very close.

(6) VIVO PER LEI improved last time when second behind Dream Searcher, against winners. Now that she is back in maiden company, she could be competitive.

Race 12 (2,000m)

(4) IMMEDIATE EDGE franked his 1,600m debut win by winning on handicap debut over this trip. That form has been boosted since.

(1) WILD INTENT lost no marks in the Grade 3 Cape Town (1,800m). A bold showing is expected on his Highveld reappearance.

(5) ONE MORE STAR would have tightened up after an encouraging comeback second over 2,000m.

(2) TOWERS OF GOLD won his only start over this distance and is weighted to be competitive.

Race 13 (1,250m)

(6) TRIPPI'S SILK has run two very good seconds in his last two starts. Despite the big weight on his back, he is the horse they all need to beat.

(1) TAMBOURINE MAN quickened up in devastating fashion to beat Trippi's Silk last time. He is consistent but at the same time needs a particular ride. If the race works out for him from a good draw, he will be competitive again.

(7) TRUE HORIZON never really runs a bad race, she is honest, and she tries hard, on her best form, she could sneak into the places.

(5) AUGUSTA BLUE is much better than his recent form. He could be running on late into the quartet.

Race 14 (2,400m)

Last-start course-and-distance scorer (2) MARAUDING HORDE carries a six-point penalty but should remain competitive for victory.

(6) BATTLEGROUND and (5) RAISEAHALLELUJAH are weighted to turn the tables on these revised terms, though.

(3) THUNEE PLAYA is at the top of his game and unexposed over this distance. He represents value.

Race 15 (1,250m)

(3) MISS WORLD ran a super race on Feb 11 behind Trip To Maputo. She has lots of ability. From a good draw here, she will get the run of the race. If she is good enough, she should win.

(6) WAR CHARIOT could be the value play in this wide-open race. He needs a particular ride, if the race works out well, he will be storming home late at a decent price.

(2) CALLMEGETRIX fought hard to win the Clapham Stakes in a driving finish. The drop to 1,250m is the only concern. She will be just behind the leaders and running on strongly late.

(10) KELP FOREST never really quickened in his last start, and he is much better than that. From a wide draw, he will be ridden for some luck, and should be running on well.

Race 16 (2,400m)

(2) TO THE RESCUE has found his niche adopting front-running tactics and will likely find the lead easily. He was game in defeat when fourth over track and trip last time at a higher level and needs only to produce a similar performance to resume winnings ways.

(3) AFRAAD and (6) ROSY LEMON are consistent hard-knockers with the means to trouble the selection.

(7) ROMEO'S MAGIC is another with earning potential.
