Race 1 (1,000m)
(4) WINTER WARFARE was only modest on debut. He did a lot better in his second start and can go one better this time.
(5) GOLDEN PALM might need further than this eventually but did show promise on her debut and should be right there at the finish.
(6) ICED MARMALADE makes her debut but is a filly by Danon Platina and she would not be a surprise winner.
(2) ARLU may need this run.
Race 2 (1,400m)
(4) ONE GIANT LEAP only found one better on the day on local debut and should go one better this time going a little bit further.
(2) BEZONDER has not shown much in three starts but is likely to improve with blinkers, making her local debut.
(5) HAT MONTERA is improving and should contest the finish.
(3) LAUGH TILL I CRY needs to find a few lengths to win a race but could earn some money.
Race 3 (1,200m)
There has not been much between (1) LOVEGRASS and (2) BOMBER GIRL based on when they met in their last two runs.
(4) YOU WIN AGAIN is probably better on the Polytrack.
(3) MYTHICAL DREAM is unreliable but not out of it entirely.
Race 4 (1,200m)
(2) ORIGINAL COPY looked good when scoring on debut last month. She could have more wins in her tank.
(1) ASPOESTERTJIE was consistent in KwaZulu-Natal and won a nice race, beating (16) PERFECT TRUST on the Hollywoodbets Greyville Polytrack. Both are clearly not out of it on local debut.
(3) MARSHMALLOW may have found 1,600m not ideal for her last time and can bounce back to be a real threat to these rivals.
Race 5 (1,000m)
(1) KING'S RANSOM is in good form and should contest the finish.
(8) MUNCHKIN ran well on local debut and should be included in all permutations.
(4) BETHEL is very speedy when in the mood and is clearly not out of it in this line-up.
(3) EXECUTOR returns from a break and while not the most reliable, does have a winning chance.
Race 6 (1,400m)
(1) ASINANTANGA looked an unlucky loser on local debut and can go one better this time around.
(2) GRAND ALLEGRO makes his local debut and would not be a surprise winner as he has run well on occasions in the Western Cape.
(3) BROOKSIDER needs to do more to win a race but can earn some money.
(5) CHEERFUL CHARLIE B has place claims.
Race 7 (1,200m)
(6) RUBY RISING looks ready to go close to winning and can be given serious each-way claims.
(5) LONG STREET went close to winning last time and can finally go one more.
(2) SERPENTINE FIRE more than likely has plenty more to offer and has to be taken seriously and is a must for all bets.
(12) CATAVAR has a strong place chance and should win soon. Respect and include.
Race 8 (1,900m)
(7) HEART STEALER scored an impressive win in a handicap last time. Picked up an eight-point penalty but can follow up.
(2) JUAN CARLOS should fight out the finish again.
(1) GIMME MORE TIME did not show his best last time but will do better this distance.
(9) NOTHINGELSEMATTERS is back to his best and can get involved with the finish again.
Race 9 (1,200m)
(7) TOP GUN comes from an in-form stable and was far from disgraced in his post maiden run and will now be ridden by Gavin Lerena. Bright win chance.
(8) ICY BLAST brings Cape Town form into the race. Can make a race of it - big chance.
(4) IMMAH has a strong place chance and (1) INGQWELE is the place value for the quartet.
Race 10 (2,700m)
(1) FIREALLEY prefers shorter but can fight out the finish.
(4) BOURNEMOUTH recorded a solid win and can follow up if in the same mood.
(5) PEACE IN OUR WORLD is usually not too far behind in races of this nature and is not out of it.
(6) OFFICIAL SECRET is weighted to win and could relish this longer distance.
Race 11 (1,600m)
(8) PRINCE FLORIAN ran second to Deputy Chief. Can go one better.
(7) THE GREEN GALLANT is hard to predict. He is the type of horse that can never be ignored from any bets - respect.
(11) TREND MAKER and (2) FOREST DRUM are must-includes for the quartet.
Race 12 (1,800m)
(4) CHERRY OH BABY takes the trip to KZN. Very hard to oppose.
(5) STAR MAN represents value. Has never been too far off the action - chance.
(11) HARUN AL RASHID nearly won last time. Has claims.
(3) GREEN MILE has a place chance.
Race 13 (1,800m)
(6) EVENTIDOR ran an absolute cracker last time but is taking time to win again. In-form Ryan Munger will be in the saddle.
(13) ANIMAL IMPACT should be right there at the finish despite the draw. Lerena has been booked to do the honours.
(1) CONNOISSEUR can do way better than the last run and has each-way claims and (3) COUNT MARSH is one for the shortlist.
Race 14 (2,000m)
(1) HODGEPODGE is in mustard form. She gets gate 1 and has a bright win chance.
(11) QUEEN AMINA looks to be a progressive filly and it would be no shock if she beat them all - bright chance.
(2) SASCHA'S DREAM should be in the first three.
(8) FRENCH TRIP won well last time and could follow up in what seems a competitive race.
Race 15 (1,400m)
(9) SAVANTRIX shows consistent form and has a strong winning chance but it is a competitive field.
(3) THISISWHATITMEANS caught the eye last time and can brag about having consistent form.
(6) TYRCONNELL is another that has solid form and a huge chance.
(5) THE CANE TRAIN has come from the Highveld with some fair form to help - chance.
Race 16 (1,200m)
(1) PURPLE POWAHOUSE went close last time when second to his stablemate. Can go one better.
(8) NOW I GOT YOU very seldom runs an off race and should record another win soon.
(9) COTTON RON was catching the eye last time and can never be dismissed from any bets.
(6) SUPER FAST is a must for the quartet.
Race 17 (1,200m)
(7) DAWN SURPRISE looks primed and cherry-ripe for her second career win and is therefore the firm first choice.
(8) DI ROSA is coming back to form and as a result of that, is a must for all bets.
(6) DYNASTY'S LAST finished third last time and can get much closer - trifecta inclusion as is her stable mate (2) DRIVE BY.
