March 21 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (1,200m)
Race 1 (1,200m)
(12) SILVAN MISTRESS did not run too badly on debut and will have Richard Fourie in the irons this time, so should make vast improvement.
(3) DARLINGBUDSOFMAY and (5) GOLDEN CROC are all capable of improvement and can get involved with the finish.
(2) BAROLO is making his debut and will not be a surprise winner.
Race 2 (1,200m)
(1) MR FOX was unplaced in all six starts in the Western Cape. He makes his local debut after a change of trainer. Alan Greeff does well with horses of this nature, and he looks the one to be with.
(4) SILVERY SURFER looks a bit better than his last run would suggest and could earn some money.
(5) FIZZLY BUBBLY showed some improvement last week and can do even better this time.
(6) HOUSE OF SUSSEX is unreliable but did run well last week and can contest the finish.
Race 3 (1,600m)
(3) ONO NO KOMACHI has been threatening to break out of the maiden ranks and gets another golden opportunity over this course and distance.
(1) GENTEEL prefers it on the turf and has a winning chance in this line-up.
(2) BEZONDER was not disgraced on local debut and should do even better this time.
(5) DANCING IN WINTER probably needs to do a bit more to win a race but could earn some money.
Race 4 (1,600m)
(9) HOLOCENE was caught too far back last time but finished off his race well. He is in good form and deserves another victory.
(3) BRENDEN JAMES showed improvement last time and can go one better.
(5) CHEEKY LADDIE is in good form and holds winning chances.
(8) PEDRO is not reliable but does have a place chance.
Race 5 (2,000m)
(3) SLAINTE MHATH produced a career-best performance with a good win last time. That was his first try with blinkers and they clearly made a difference. He can follow up.
(2) NOTHINGELSEMATTERS is in good form. Follow him again.
(4) HAARLEM won on local debut and could have more to offer.
(5) RED WILLIAM is holding form and can make the frame again.
Race 6 (1,200m)
(7) KINGDUNDEE had a bad start but won full of running over this course and distance last time.
(1) FAIRY KNIGHT is seeking a hat-trick after some solid wins and will not go down without a fight.
(2) KHAYA'S HOPE is not the force of old but did win his latest and is not out of it.
(3) MERCANTOUR makes his local debut and is not out of it.
Race 7 (1,600m)
(1) MY BEST SHOT has been impressive of late, winning five of his last six starts, the last three being in a row. Track and trip suit.
Filly (5) SPLICETHEMAINBRACE has won her last three starts and will not go down without a fight.
(3) SAKURAJIMA is also capable of earning some money.
(2) WAHEED makes his local debut and does have some ability.
Race 8 (1,400m)
(3) CAN'T SAY NO ran well in a better field than this last time and deserves respect.
(10) WALKONTHEWILDSIDE is still learning about racing and picked up her second win last time. She may well follow up.
(2) HEART PEAKS would not be a surprise winner.
(7) SUN SPECTACULAR returned to form with a good win last time but this does look a tougher field.
