(3) EMERALD FORGE looks well placed and could win on debut.
(1) CRYSTAL GROVE should be prominent. Watch her.
(6) OPERA FAN and (11) VEGAS GIRL should run better races.
Race 3 (1,600m)
(9) O SPACE O improved last time with a narrow second at long odds.
The odds will be shorter this time but he will have to get past (2) WHITE SEAHORSE and (3) VENCEDOR who both have better draws. White Seahorse appears to have come to hand. Vencedor should be involved again.

(6) CRONUS and (7) FUTURENAIRE need to be taken seriously.
(2) MIZZEN SWORD is holding form.

(11) PROMISE OF FIRE may be the right one on the mile.
(3) LA VIDA LOCA seems capable and meets a modest line-up.
(7) DEE DAY is way better than her last run and can feature.
(9) GLORIOUS BUTTERFLY has been improving, albeit in modest company last start.

(1) DUPONT EMERALD should run a good race from gate four.
If (2) SAUDI SWEEP is ready after a break, she could be a big threat.
(14) WEARINGOFTHEGREEN must be respected.
(3) TIPPERARY has shown she can win.
Race 7 (1,600m)
(1) MEXICAN PETE has pole position. If the weather holds, he could be the one to beat.
(2) SUNDANCE KID is smart on his day and first-time blinkers could bring out his best.
(11) CAPSAICIN has the widest draw but he is in good form.
(10) BRISTOL HERCULES is 1.5kg better than Capsaicin on their last meeting but has also drawn wide.

(1) MYSTIC VISION could relish the step-up in distance.
(4) PROLIFIC STAR has more to come after needing his last start.
(3) BRIGHAM could improve on his first try over 1,600m.
Race 9 (2,400m)
(12) CAPTAIN OLIVER can make amends.
(8) UZWANO could now be over his ideal distance.
(5) WOODLAND GLADE also steps up in trip and the distance should suit.
(1) FIRE FORCE carries 49kg. He could go all the way from gate one.
Race 10 (1,000m)
(2) ONE FELL SWOOP was ousted late last time when her rider lost the irons, which was unlucky.
(1) TROPPO VELOCE could be prominent.
(6) JUST THE TWO OF US won easily last time but did finish behind (4) NIGHT VIGIL the last time they met. Both should be right there carrying light weights.
Race 11 (1,400m)
(5) PLAZA ACCORD looks to be off to a competitive mark.
(10) IBUTHO's recent form has been poor, but the blinkers are back on.
(9) PHAKA IMALI surprised at long odds last start. A repeat could see him go in again.
(4) SLYTHERIN won on debut and the extra distance should suit.
Race 12 (1,100m)
(1) CHOCOLATE SOLDIER is in top form and should run another big race in the Grade 3 National Currency Sprint.
(2) PISTOL PETE is in cracking form and must be in the fight.
(3) TRUTH did well in a sprint early and must not be taken lightly.
(8) RONDEBOSCH appears handily weighted.
Race 13 (1,400m)
(1) MAGMA MAGIC steps up to his winning trip. He has the best draw.
(3) NUMZAAN looks capable off this weight.
(2) ROOSTER BRADSHAW can follow up in this field.
(6) STARS IN HEAVEN has won his last two races and a hat-trick cannot be discounted.
Race 14 (1,600m)
(7) JURY'S OUT gave weight last time. He can go one better.
(3) MASTER CHRISTMAS finished ahead of (1) STORM BRASCO in a listed race last time and the form line has worked out well.
(8) ARTIST'S MODEL could be hard to peg back on his best trip.
Race 15 (1,000m)
(4) IBHELE has a big weight but he could win with a 4kg claimer on.
(2) LADY OF VIX is quick but found the extra 100m last time too far.
(3) VISION TO ACHIEVE can be involved in the finish.
(6) AYUWI YUWI is holding form.
Race 16 (2,400m)
(6) LITTLEMARYSUNSHINE is weighted to follow up.
(3) UNITED COUNCIL can run a big race.
(5) VESUVIO would not mind being up in trip as he is versatile.
(4) HAWKBILL is better over the extra distance.

(4) ONE SMART COOKIE should have a big chance.
(6) COLORADO CREEK is holding form.
(9) LITTLEBLACKGEM is better than her last run and could pop up.
(5) GLAMORZ was not far back under a big weight last time.
