Where did this oil spill at Woodlands Jetty come from?

A Stomper was enjoying a walk at Woodlands Waterfront Park when he noticed oil in the water near the Woodlands Jetty today (Feb 11).

The sight of the oil ruined the otherwise pleasant scenery.

Specks and streaks of black were seen on the surface of the water and stretched out for several metres.

It is unclear what caused the oil spillage.
