Olympic champ Joseph Schooling smashes 8-year US meet record in 50-yard freestyle

Olympics gold medallist Joseph Schooling has done it again.
This time the Singaporean smashed a 50m freestyle final at the 2017 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas on Friday (Feb 24).
The Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships is a collegiate swim meet in the US where Schooling was presented the Newcomer of the Year award in 2015.
Schooling's timing of 18.76s shattered an eight-year record of 18.84s held by US swim star Jimmy Feigen. He also overtook fellow University of Texas teammates Jack Conger and Brett Ringgold, who came in second and third respectively.
