Blaze at Punggol Rd put out by SCDF

Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) battled an extinguished a blaze at Punggol Road at 12.30pm yesterday (April 21).

A Stomper who witnessed the aftermath of the fire sent photos of the incident to Stomp.

The images show fire engines around a what appears to be a terrace house in that area.

In response to Stomp's queries, an SCDF spokesperson said a fire engine, two red rhinos, and ambulance and two support vehicles were dispatched to the location.

"The fire was extinguished by SCDF using one water jet," said the spokesperson.

There were no injuries.
