Stomper Anis was annoyed when she saw a woman smoking at a bus stop along Bedok North Road on Apr 25.
The woman was sitting at a bench and puffing away at her cigarette.
"This auntie was happily smoking while waiting for the bus at the bus stop," said Anis.
"It is so unfair for other commuters waiting for the bus."
According to the National Environment Agency (NEA), bus shelters are one of the places listed where smoking is prohibited:
"An individual who is caught smoking in a prohibited place is liable to a conviction to a fine of $200.
"If convicted in Court, the offender may be liable to a fine of up to $1,000."
