Zoe Tay gets bloody 'strange' with Labubu for Halloween

Boo!

Or rather, Labu-boo!

It seems even the Queen of Caldecott Hill can't resist the creepy-cute charm of the toothy girl elf.

Actress Zoe Tay posted on her social media on Oct 31 photos of herself with a Halloween-themed Labubu doll, which had a skull on its head and wore a jack o'lantern costume.

As if that wasn't Halloween enough, the Mediacorp artist also had bits of fake blood streaked across her face - or at least one hopes it was fake blood.

The caption, which is in Chinese, roughly translates to "Be strange with me as deeply you love me."

Who knew the 56-year-old Ah Jie is such a freak for Halloween?

She had earlier posted photos of herself in Shantou, China, with several Labubu accessories in September.

Tay isn't the only TV actress who has jumped on the toy bandwagon.

Her Emerald Hill co-star, Jeanette Aw, has posted photos of herself with Labubu dolls including one extra large one.

Thankfully, her photos didn't have any blood, fake or otherwise.

Labubu is a character from The Monsters illustrated series created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung for toy company Pop Mart.

The elf went viral globally when South Korean girl group Blackpink's Lisa first posted photos of herself accessorising her luxury bags with it in April.
