Year of the Rabbit: Man takes bunnies out for 'walk' at Chinatown Complex
A man who brought his two pet rabbits for a walk attracted the attention of shoppers and passers-by at Chinatown Complex on Sunday (Jan 8).
Stomper Lau Lup was one of many who were delighted to come across the adorable animals, just a couple of weeks before the upcoming Year of the Rabbit.
In a video shared by the Stomper, the two bunnies are on leashes and receiving pets and scratches from a small crowd that has surrounded them.
"Walking the rabbits this coming rabbit year, what a sight," said Lau Lup.
"It was my first time seeing such a scene and a pleasant surprise too."
It is fitting the rabbits were spotted in Chinatown which has been turned into 'rabbit central' with bunny-shaped lanterns and rabbit-themed decorations put up to welcome visitors.
One Chinatown rabbit mascot attracted the attention of netizens who thought it looked like it was 'taking a dump'.
