Worker picks up spilled straws from floor and puts them in iJooz machine at Queenstown condo
A worker was caught on camera picking up spilled straws from the floor and placing them in an iJooz vending machine at a Queenstown condominium.
Stomper KB shared a video of what she described as "inappropriate handling of dirty straws" at Queens Peak condo on Dundee Road opposite the Queenstown MRT station.
She said: "The unwrapped straws dropped all over the floor when the worker was using one hand to do the job with the other hand holding a phone.
"These dirty straws were put into the machine immediately after the worker picked them up."
That was more than a month ago.
"After being informed, the iJooz company promised to replace these unwrapped straws with wrapped straws, but after more than a month, nothing was done," said the Stomper.
"This part of ground is commonly walked by residents, doggies, gardeners and workers. Just imagine the dirty shoes stepping all over the place where the drinking straws were dropped!"
