Woodlands resident spends $45k on home renovation, including common space for neighbours
In a Woodlands block, residents from different backgrounds share a cosy space in their common corridor.
A Stomper shared with Stomp photos and videos of the common space shared by three units.
Featuring floor decking, faux carpet grass and stones, the area exudes a sense of togetherness that reflects the harmony shared among the neighbours.
"I am a resident of one of the units and we all moved in last year in June," said the Stomper.
The Stomper added that in the spirit of being neighbourly, he bore the cost of the outdoor decorations for his next-door neighbours.
"The total renovation cost for my home and the outdoor area was $45,000," he said.
"The stand-alone unit on the other side did theirs on their own."
The Stomper also shared how he went the extra mile to turn his home into a 'Christmas wonderland' after Dec 8.

In a clip shared by the resident, a small Christmas tree sits outside his front door. When you enter his home, you are met with a larger one in the living room and another in the kitchen.
Apart from the thoughtfully placed decorations, including wreaths and candles, there is also a faux fireplace to add on to the festive cheer.
