A Mercedes-Benz driver who was caught on video blocking a carpark entrance along Woodlands Street 31 on Dec 20, 2024 has issued a heartfelt apology after a Stomper expressed frustration over the incident.

In the video, shared by Stomper RoadUser, a woman and another lady were seen loading a box and a trolley into the car.

The Stomper had been waiting for some time, inconvenienced by the delay.

The woman in the video was seen gesturing apologetically after realising the hold-up.

"I waited at the junction to see how much time they needed to load and move off," the Stomper had said in the original article.

However, further delay occurred when there appeared to be an issue with closing the car's boot.

The woman, who identified herself as the driver in the video, wrote to Stomp to offer a sincere apology to the Stomper.

"I was informed by others about this video, and I want to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and trouble I caused you and others," she said.

"That day, I had just come from the nearby polyclinic after vaccinating my twin babies and was on my way to pick up my mother.

"I didn't realise she had bought so many things, and fearing for her health due to her age, I stopped immediately to load her purchases.

"The situation was chaotic at the time, and admittedly, my 'pregnancy brain' prevented me from thinking things through properly.

"I deeply regret the inconvenience I caused you and the neighbourhood.

"I am truly sorry.

"In the future, we will ensure to park in the designated loading areas and avoid using the space shown in the video.

"I felt guilty about this even on that day, but seeing the video again served as a valuable reminder.

"Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I will definitely be more mindful going forward."
