Woman vapes 'brazenly in broad daylight' in Eunos
A woman was spotted vaping at Block 37A Eunos Road 2 on Aug 17, at around 1.09pm.
Stomper YK shared photos showing the woman holding the vape while using her mobile phone. In one image, she can be seen using the vape.
"I spotted an individual vaping brazenly in broad daylight in the hood," YK recounted.
"Despite the media focus on the authorities clamping down on vaping, this lady is still doing this brazenly in an open area where families and children might be around."
According to YK, the woman was there for at least 20 minutes.
"I guess she was waiting for her transport to come or just vaping downstairs," the Stomper added.
"I felt helpless as I wasn't sure how effective reporting this to the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) would be, with limited information. If I approach her, she might also just walk away."
The purchase, possession and use of imitation tobacco products, which include e-vaporisers, is prohibited in Singapore. Anyone convicted of the possession, use and purchase of e-vaporisers is liable to a fine of up to $2,000.
