Woman takes not 1 but 5 plants from Simei corridor, yet leaves some behind
Why five?
A woman was caught on camera taking not one but five tiny potted plants from outside a Simei resident's home.
Stomper B shared CCTV footage of the incident that occurred at Block 105 Simei Street 1 on May 10, at 6.29am.
The video shows the woman, who was holding a plastic bag, walking up to a white cabinet outside B's ground-floor unit. A row of small potted plants can be spotted on the cabinet.
The woman is seen staring at the plants before looking up and around.
She then places five potted plants into her plastic bag, leaving others behind, and walks away.
B told Stomp: "I feel shocked but thought it was hilarious too, as these are seriously small plants.
"I am also furious because I would have given her one or two pots if she had just asked.
B said she initially felt like the police had better things to do, but decided to file a police report online.
"I pasted a poster about this so now all my neighbours are aware of her and are keeping a lookout," she added.
"I hope Stomp can help me to spread awareness."
