Woman taken to hospital after 7-vehicle accident at Pasir Ris junction
A 57-year-old car driver was taken to hospital after a seven-vehicle accident in Pasir Ris on Thursday (June 25).
The police said they were alerted to an accident involving a taxi, a motorcycle, a lorry and four cars at the junction of Pasir Ris Drive 8 and Pasir Ris Drive 1 at 11.25am.
A female car driver was conscious when taken to Changi General Hospital.
Several Stompers shared photos and videos of the accident scene. A red car and a blue car can be seen overturned.
Stomper Francis said that the accident caused a traffic jam.
He told Stomp: "All motorists were advised to turn to Pasir Ris Grove or left to Pasir Ris Drive 1. We could not turn right or go straight at the junction.
Police are investigating the incident.
