Woman 'somersaults' down Changi Airport tube slide, left crying in pain
A woman got flipped upside down while riding the tube slide at Changi Airport's Terminal 4.
Stomper Anon alerted Stomp to a video of the incident posted on TikTok by user @sshhuuyyii on July 9.
The post's caption said: "Don't ask me how, but I somersaulted down the slide. Buy your insurance."
In the video, the woman enters the slide leg-first, but upon hitting the sides of the tube slide, she somehow flips upside down.
She can be seen crashing into the sides of the slide on her way down, before exiting head-first.
The woman is teary-eyed and visibly in pain after the accident. Her friends are seen tending to her afterwards and rubbing her forehead.
Some netizens questioned why the woman entered the slide head-first, without realising the slide had caused her to "somersault" upside-down.
Others claimed that the slide is catered for children.
"Adult weight makes you slide faster than kids. I've seen kids playing there many times with no issue," one user commented.
In May 2024, Chinese social media influencer Koey Har sustained injuries after riding the same slide.
