Woman crosses road 'with eyes on handphone' during red light, ignores oncoming traffic
A woman was seen crossing a road in Tampines even though the traffic light was not in her favour.
Stomper AC noted that the pedestrian also appeared to be engrossed in her phone.
He shared dashcam footage of the incident that occurred at the junction of Tampines Street 45 and Tampines Avenue 9 on March 28.
In the video, the woman can be seen pulling a trolley with one hand and holding her mobile phone in the other.
AC, who was in his car, had to slow down and wait for her to cross the road.
He said: "The pedestrian was jaywalking with her eyes on (her) handphone, endangering herself and causing inconvenience to others."
It was his first time encountering something like this, the Stomper added.
