A woman's vape was confiscated by cabin crew after she was caught using it onboard a Jetstar flight.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to a TikTok video of the incident that has been circulating online.

In the clip, smoke can be seen coming from a woman seated in an aisle seat.

The person recording the video then points the camera at the airline's in-flight magazine and flips to a page which explicitly states that smoking and vaping are prohibited on all flights.

The woman is later seen walking back to her seat after speaking with a cabin crew member.

According to the post, the incident happened on Jetstar flight 3K515 from Singapore to Bangkok on Jan 10.

The caption asks: "But how did she get it through customs?"

In response to a Stomp query, a Jetstar Asia spokesperson said:

"Smoking, vaping, or the use of electronic cigarettes on any Jetstar aircraft is strictly prohibited.

"Our cabin crew confiscated the vape on the flight and the incident has been reported to local authorities.

"Safety is our top priority, and this type of behaviour will never be tolerated."
