# Woman arrested for drink driving after accident involving 3 cars and 2 people seated outside Chinatown bar

A 37-year-old woman was arrested for drink driving while two others were taken to hospital after an accident in Chinatown in the early hours of Oct 17.

In response to Stomp’s queries, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving “three cars and two individuals who were seated outside a bar” along Amoy Street towards Cross Street at about 12.45am.

“A 39-year-old male car driver sustained minor injuries but refused conveyance,” the police added.

A 25-year-old woman and a 35-year-old male man were conscious when taken to hospital.

Stomper Ivan shared a photo that shows a black car mounting what appears to be a walkway after crashing into a wall. A police cordon can also be seen.

Ivan, who said the accident occurred near The Clan Hotel, asked: “How can this happen?”

Police investigations are ongoing.
