A 54-year-old woman was arrested a day after after she was involved in a hit-and-run accident with a motorcyclist in Kallang.
The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Sims Avenue and Sims Way at about 8.20am on Nov 19.
A 58-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to Raffles Hospital in a conscious state.
The woman, who was driving a car, was arrested on Nov 20 for dangerous driving causing grievous hurt, said the police.
She is also being investigated for failing to stop after an accident and failing to render assistance to the injured.
A dashboard camera video taken from a vehicle that was travelling in the same direction as the motorcyclist shows a silver car travelling at a high speed across the junction.
In the video, which was posted on Facebook page SG Road Vigilante on Nov 19, the traffic light appears to be in favour of the motorcyclist.
The car collides with the motorcyclist, who is thrown off his vehicle and falls to the ground.
The car continues on its way, while at least two other motorists are seen coming to the man's aid.
Police are investigating the accident.
