Why did cabby jam on brakes for no apparent reason -- causing accident?
A van and a ComfortDelGro taxi were involved in a collision along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) at around 11.39am today (Jan 31).
Stomper Chong captured the incident, which occurred before the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) exit, on camera and shared the footage with Stomp.
From the video, the cabby appeared to have jammed on his brakes all of a sudden, hence causing the van to hit the taxi from behind.
However, it is unclear what caused the cabby's actions.
Chong told Stomp: "This video is to assist the van driver in the accident.
"Please help to make it viral."
