Should they be doing this?
Residents in Woodlands, Toa Payoh and Punggol want something done about delivery people sorting parcels in Housing Board void decks
Stomper Ravi shared photos of two women sorting bags and bags of parcels at parcels at Block 850 Woodlands Street 82 on March 1.

He wondered: "How come they can do sorting in the void deck and create noise with their trolleys, but the authorities are not doing anything about it?"
Stomper Ng shared photos of parcel sorting at Block 243 and Block 259 Kim Keat Link in Toa Payoh on different days in February 2025.

Stomper Peter shared photos of a similar activities at Block 641C Punggol Drive near the multi-storey carpark on on Feb 17.
"Of late, the number of parcels has been increasing and occupying the whole area below Block 641C," said the Stomper.
"Aside from the noise, cleanliness and the fire hazard are a concern. Trolleys and empty carton boxes were left locked under the staircases for their usage."
One photo shows a safety cone used to reserve a parking lot for unloading.

The Courier Hub Scheme, formalised by the Urban Redevelopment Authority and HDB on Sept 9, 2024, seemed to promise that such void deck invasions would be a thing of the past.
Under the scheme, courier companies can apply to use parking spaces at more than 50 HDB multi-storey carparks to support their delivery activities, such as the loading, unloading, sorting and dispatching of parcels.
"With courier hubs, delivery personnel have a safe and convenient space to sort parcels before walkers deliver them to residents' doorsteps," said Minister for National Development Desmond Lee at the time.
So why are courier companies still using void decks and not these "hubs"?
Applications for the parking spaces under the Courier Hub Scheme closed on Jan 31, 2025, and according to the HDB website, evaluation of the applications would take three months.
So the scheme will likely come into effect on May 1 at the earliest.
But are the 50 carparks listed as "hubs" below adequate?

Do you live near any of these "hubs" so that the courier can use the location when delivering parcels to your address?
