More monkeys than humans seen in these photos taken near Punggol Beach

Stomper Vivian came across a bunch of monkeys (no pun intended) chilling near Punggol Beach on Jun 18.

Photos and a video the Stomper sent show around 15 monkeys hanging out at a grass patches in the area.

There were people in the vicinity at that point of time, but they did not seem to be affected by the presence of the primates.

The monkeys too seem to be minding their own business. 

Some of them can be seen around a plastic bag, suggesting that they might have been looking for food.

Although they might seem harmless, we would advise the public not to approach them for the sake of their own safety.
