But how about a a traffic enforcement officer running a red light?
That is exactly what a video, posted by Facebook user Phua Yong Lin, shows.
The clip shows multiple vehicles pulling to a halt at a traffic junction when the lights turn red.
As the vehicles going straight move off when the lights turn green, the vehicles that need to turn wait for the lights to change in their favour.
At this point, a traffic enforcement officer rolls up on his motorcycle to make the turn as well.
However, he does not wait for the lights to change in his favour, and simply shoots across once there are no vehicles on the opposite side of the road.
The clip has drawn strong criticism from netizens, who have slammed the officer's behaviour.
