Videos abound of trailer truck in flames on BKE
A trailer truck caught fire on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) on the night of Jan 3.
Stompers Arshardd and Anonymous shared videos of the heavy vehicle engulfed in flames on the side of the road.
Other videos of the fire were also posted online.
In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted at about 8pm to the fire on BKE towards the Seletar Expressway before the Turf Club Avenue exit.
The fire, which involved the contents of a container on a trailer, was extinguished using two hosereels.
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
