A 40-year-old van driver is assisting with police investigations after a hit-and-run accident along Woodlands Avenue 9 on July 14.

Stomper Anonymous shared videos of the accident, which show a white Toyota Hiace minivan having driven off the road onto the pavement.

The front of the van looked dented, and part of its left front bumper hung off the vehicle. Traffic Police officers can be seen on the road.

In response to a Stomp query, police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident, involving a car and a van, at 2pm.

SCDF assessed a person for minor injuries, but the person declined to be taken to hospital.

The male van driver is assisting with investigations for careless driving without due care and attention.

Police investigations are ongoing.
