Rich kid's pet tiger gets loose and runs along highway in Qatar

One tiger cub ran for its freedom after escaping its owner's car on Doha highway in Qatar.
Sultan Sooud Al-Qassemi shared in a video on Facebook with the caption, "This obsession of keeping wild animals by rich kids in the Gulf has gone too far."
According to Doha news, the tiger's chain apparently snapped and it escaped from its owner's car during the traffic jam.
It is not totally uncommon to keep animals like tigers as pets in places like Qatar, but it definitely raises the debate of whether it is right to do so for a wild and endangered animal.
