Parcels strewn all over Woodlands void deck: 'Anyone can just pick up what they want and walk away'
He once called the police over the issue. This time, the Woodlands resident just contacted Stomp.
Stomper Concerned shared photos of clusters of parcels scattered around the void deck of Block 329 Woodlands Street 32 in the early evening of Aug 1.
"While walking to get my dinner, I found myself having to avoid dozens and dozens of parcels with Shopee and SPX Express stickers strewn all over the void deck," recounted the Stomper.
"No delivery person oversaw these parcels to keep watch over them. Anyone can just pick up what they want and walk away.
"It was more stunning and spectacular than what I reported at nearby Block 347 Woodlands Avenue 3 in January 2024."
That was the time he called the police.
The Stomper said: "This is irresponsible behavior in internet commerce last-mile delivery taken to a whole new level.
"It is unbelievable that this happens in Singapore. And a repeat incident to boot."

In response to a Stomp query, a Shopee spokesperson said the company valued the feedback from residents and took such concerns seriously.
"We have contacted our third-party logistics partner as part of our investigation," said the spokesperson.
"The activity has since ceased, and we are working closely with the partner to ensure that future operations are carried out with greater care and consideration for shared community spaces."
The spokesperson added: "We regret any inconvenience caused and remain committed to maintaining safe and responsible delivery practices."
