A British couple travelling the world recently made their fourth trip to Singapore in 10 months, drawn back again and again by the "endless" variety of food and experiences here.

"Honestly, we don't think there's anywhere else quite like it. The people are so welcoming - Singapore really feels like a second home for us," said Mollie, 29, and Jack, 32, who share the TikTok handle mollie_and_jack.

The couple, who hail from Northamptonshire, England, told The New Paper that even after multiple visits, the island's variety continues to surprise them.

"One day, we can soak up the city life, and the next, we can escape to nature in the heartlands," they said, adding that the food choices are "endless".

Molie and Jack recently shared their experience of sampling local dishes at Adam Food Centre, where they tried a maggie goreng combo, rojak, and ice kachang.

In a clip posted on Sept 8, Jack says the maggie goreng combo, which came with popcorn chicken and french fries, has the "potential to be the number one".

"I don't actually know what I'm eating, but this one's really tasty," says Mollie of her rojak dish, while the couple found ice kachang "refreshing".

"All in all, a very good lunch experience. Definitely would recommend," they concluded.

The couple told TNP that a single hawker centre offers an abundance of options.

"All delicious and affordable - it's hard to find anything like that back home."

Molie and Jack, who are still planning their next trip to the Republic, added that they plan to explore more hawker centres on their next trip to Singapore, in hopes of discovering new dishes.
