Stomper Ho saw a tree struck down by lightning during heavy showers at Kim Chuan Road at around 4pm today (Apr 26).
She witnessed the event from her office window.
"Thankfully, it was not during peak period so the fallen tree did not cause any accident," said Ho.
The fallen tree blocked one lane along the road but fortunately, it did not cause a jam as vehicles could easily bypass the obstruction.
"They are still cleaning up the area," said the Stomper at 5.30pm.
