Tree falls across road in rain, blocks traffic for at least an hour in Mandai
A tree fell across a road in Mandai, blocking traffic for at least an hour on the rainy morning of Aug 24.
Sharing a photo of the fallen tree, Stomper Cheryl said it happened opposite Mandai Crematorium at 8.05am.
In the photo, a bus can be seen on the other side of the tree.
"On the way to work, I saw this tree fall and block the road," recounted the Stomper.
"We waited for the police and National Parks Board (NParks) until nine plus."
She also shared photos of a crane and workers clearing the tree from the road.
"Ha ha, first time this has happened to me," said the Stomper.
