The final clip in the montage shows the car driving against the flow of traffic in the middle lane of a three-lane road.

In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to a hit-and-run accident involving two cars at about 6.30pm.

A 33-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.

Netizens expressed their anticipation for the driver to be held accountable by the authorities.

"He will get arrested soon," one commented. "This guy is in deep, deep trouble."

Another wrote: "A love letter from the Land Transport Authority and the Traffic Police will arrive at his home. With this dashcam evidence, good luck to the stupid Alphard driver."

Police investigations are ongoing.
