A Tower Transit bus was caught on video running a red light and turning right from a lane designated for vehicles going straight.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to footage of the incident posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook page.

According to the post, the incident happened at Jurong Gateway Road on Jan 26 at about 11.57am.

The clip shows bus service 333 breaching traffic rules by making an improper right turn.

In response to a Stomp query, a Tower Transit spokesperson said: "We would like to deeply apologise on behalf of our bus captain who could have done better."

Tower Transit said that they will refer this feedback to the relevant department to conduct the necessary investigations.

"Rest assured that our staff managers will conduct a coaching session to address this matter," the spokesperson said.

"In addition, this invaluable feedback will be referred to our training department to share with our team of bus captains on key points relating to service level of such and also reinforce on consistent driving standards."
