Tower Transit apologises after commuter rides the 'dirtiest bus I've ever seen'
A commuter was on Tower Transit bus service 969 towards Tampines Bus Interchange on July 9 when she noticed trash strewn across the floor and even on a seat.
Stomper Anon told Stomp: "I take the bus to work every day. This was the dirtiest bus I've ever seen. 🫣"
In a video Anon took at about 9.54am, used tissue can be seen stuffed into the side of a seat.
A plastic bag, seemingly filled with garbage, sits on the floor, along with another empty red plastic bag.
Parts of the floor also appeared stained with dirt and leaves, likely due to rainy weather.
Small pieces of paper and plastic were seen littered beneath several seats.
In response to a Stomp query, a Tower Transit spokesperson said on July 24: "Please accept our sincere apologies for the unpleasant experience encountered with our bus service 969 on July 9 at around 9.54am. Every customer is important to us, and we do our best to ensure they have a pleasant travelling experience.
"We will refer this feedback to the relevant departments so they can conduct the necessary checks on the bus based on the information provided."
