The Tortoise Sanctuary on Kusu Island was cleaned up following a Stomper's feedback about the poor conditions there.

Stomper Delphine shared a video of the tortoise pond taken on Nov 9.

"The water is so little and murky," said the Stomper about the state of the Tortoise Sanctuary before the clean-up. "The environment is so smelly.

"We are worried the tortoises may die soon."

Kusu Island is managed by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA).

Stomp contacted SLA about the Stomper's feedback on Nov 11.

Stomp understands the contractor was informed and the clean-up efforts were completed by Nov 14.

On Nov 17, the Stomper visited the Tortoise Sanctuary again and said: "I can see some improvements.

"It is not smelly as compared to the last visit, but the water is still murky."
