'Thank you for your hard work despite the rain!' says Sengkang resident to worker
It is easy for us to take everyday luxuries like clean streets and neighbourhoods for granted but we should be grateful to those who step up to take on this difficult and often thankless job.
Stomper Solomon was looking out his window yesterday afternoon (Mar 28) when he saw a foreign worker going about his duties despite the rain.
He was heartened to see the worker diligently using a hose to clean the sidewalk and drain below Solomon's block.
"He was working hard in the rain," said the Stomper.
"I salute him."
