Local actor and live streamer Terence Cao made his K-debut on the Sept 25 episode of South Korean online variety series SOS (Save Our Stock) (2025), hosted by K-pop boy band Super Junior's Leeteuk.

Cao, 57, took to Facebook on Sept 26 to share how he was in awe of Leeteuk, praising the 42-year-old South Korean idol whom he said was so "handsome" in person that he was left "speechless".

The Singaporean star added that Leeteuk, whose real name is Park Jeong-su, is "10,000 times more gentle than he appears on-screen".

The YouTube show is produced by South Korean live commerce company Lala Station and features South Korean influencers selling a variety of products and services, from fashion items to health supplements to travel packages.

Cao, together with Singaporean live streamers Emily Tan and Genecia Alluora Luo, represented the nation as the trio competed against influencers from Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam for the right to sell the K-beauty products featured in that episode during their own live streams back home.

The Singapore team won the grand prize of a pair of plane tickets to Seoul, which will be given to a lucky winner during their live-stream sales. The products will be sold on e-commerce platforms like Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop and Facebook at a later date.

Since 2022, Cao has been doing live-selling on Facebook and subsequently set up Star Live in 2023 with Singaporean film-maker Jack Neo. The e-commerce platform is now available on various social media channels such as TikTok, Telegram and Facebook.
