Stomper 'shook' after listening to voicemail that suddenly turned creepy, gets goosebumps
It was "not normal" for him to get voicemails on a Saturday morning (April 12).
Out of curiosity, Stomper Higlenbye listened to the voicemail - and was left shaken.
He shared a screen recording of the 22-second voicemail from a Singapore number, which starts off with a female voice saying, "Good day, welcome to..."
However, the voice trails off and turns into sinister laughing.
A beep is then heard, and a female voice says, "Hello, good morning, DBS Bank (department)... hello?"
Higlenbye told Stomp: "I immediately got the shivers and had goosebumps. I was stunned, confused and my hair stand sia."
Asked if he thinks this is a prank or a scam, the Stomper said: "Very good question leh. In front is a prank, behind is a scam.
"I'm not a person to get 'shook' by scam calls, but this is not normal."
