An elderly man was taken to hospital after he allegedly fainted at Upper Boon Keng Market and Food Centre on May 17.

Stomper Yeow shared a photo of Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers at the scene, in front of a char kway teow stall.

Yeow said: "I overheard that a customer had fainted and a passer-by called the ambulance.

"I witnessed four SCDF officers attending to the elderly person and was very impressed with their professionalism. Well done to all the officers onsite."

In response to a Stomp query, SCDF said it received a call for assistance at 17 Upper Boon Keng Road at around 8.15am and conveyed one person to Raffles Hospital.
