Stomper expresses concern for woman jaywalking at Marsiling Road: 'It's very dangerous'
Why risk it when there's a safer way?
A pedestrian was seen jaywalking along Marsiling Road on April 20.
Stomper Lim spotted the woman at about 6pm and expressed concern for her safety.
"Many times I see people crossing like this, it's very dangerous," said the Stomper.
In a video shared by the Stomper, the woman is seen walking beside the road divider and stepping onto it where the railing ends.
He noted that a motorcyclist passed uncomfortably close to her at one point.
Under the Road Traffic Act, jaywalking is an offence and pedestrians who fail to cross safely at designated areas may be fined up to $50.
