Stomper disappointed with CNY decorations in Chinatown: 'Snake is so small'
Uncoiled on Dec 29, the Chinese New Year decorations for the Year of the Snake in Chinatown has failed to charm at least one man.
Stomper Steven called it disappointing.
"The snake is so small and hardly can be seen, overshadowed by the decorations surrounding it," said the Stomper.
"The best zodiac animal so far is still the tiger."

Has it become an annual tradition to criticise the CNY decorations at Chinatown?
Earlier this year, the Year of the Dragon decorations was mocked for the dragon looking like the animated character Shrek and Japanese comedian Pikotaro.
In 2023, the rabbit was said to look like it was squatting over a toilet and "taking a dump".
In 2021, people called out the ox mascot at Chinatown Point for looking like someone in a recycled rat costume with added horns. The shopping centre clarified that the mascot was supposed to be an otter dressed up as an ox.
For the Year of the Tiger in 2022, Stomp did not report any complaints, so perhaps the Stomper is right that the tiger was the best.

But while he is not impressed by this year's Year of the Snake decorations in Chinatown, Lianhe Zaobao reported that netizens found the snake with its big eyes "very cute".
To each hissssssss own.
