Stomper claims Jurong East food centre has cheapest economic bee hoon in S'pore, chicken rice good too
It often seems like everyone is always complaining about paying too much for food.
Here is something different.
Stomper Ang claimed that a stall in Yuhua Market and Food Centre at Jurong East Street 21 sells the cheapest economic bee hoon in Singapore.
"Bee hoon plus vegetables cost $1.90 only," said the Stomper.
For something to wash down the food with, he recommended: "The drinks stall in front sells glass jelly drink at $1.10."
And if you're not in the mood for bee hoon, he has other suggestions.
"The two chicken rice stalls in this market also sell cheap and good chicken rice," said the Stomper.
"Two chicken wings with a portion of barbecue pork and additional rice cost just $6."

He told Stomp: "I hope Stomp can help to advertise that there are hawkers in Singapore who sell affordable and reasonably priced food and we ought to patronise them.
"This also shows that other hawkers elsewhere are not selling food at market price and are out to gain unethical profits from the Singaporeans."
