Stomper appalled as father does nothing to stop son from drawing on wall at Boon Lay HDB block
A Stomper was shocked to see a boy drawing on the wall of an HDB block -- and even more appalled when the boy's father refused to stop him.
On April 5 at 6.40pm, Stomper John caught a young boy drawing on a wall of a public area at Block 180B Boon Lay Drive 5.
"This boy was caught vandalising the wall even after being reprimanded and despite his father being informed," said the Stomper.
"Instead, he continued doing it on another wall. The father didn't care at all."
In response to a Stomp query, the West Coast Town Council said they are aware of the incident and will take immediate action.
"Our cleaning team will be cleaning the vandalised wall, and we will also be putting up advisory notices in the area," a town council spokesperson said.
"We appreciate the resident's vigilance in reporting this incident and acknowledge the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment for our community.
"We will continue to work with residents to prevent such incidents from happening in the future."
