A Singapore-registered Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R was in a horrific crash at Sepang Raceway in Malaysia and a video of the accident has gone viral.

Stomper Tiger alerted Stomp to the video taken from inside the vehicle showing the moment of impact. Two people were in the car.

The car went a few laps around the track before crashing into a barrier. Before the crash, the driver can be heard exclaiming: "Oh f***, there's no brake!"

It is unclear when the accident took place.

Facebook user Azman Nor posted on May 19 that the Mercedes owner was the passenger and the driver was an experienced race driver.

He said the car was moving at 229kmh when the brakes failed and the impact speed was about 180kmh.

Azman added that the driver was hospitalised with spinal injuries.

"Let's all pray that he makes a full recovery. He did very well to manage the situation," said Azman.
