Man with chronic liver failure dies: Many volunteered to donate liver after Stomp report but it was too late

Stomper En's father, Mr Yoong Lee, passed away last night (Nov 9) at around 8pm in Singapore General Hospital. He was 50 years old.

In an earlier report yesterday, Stomper En had informed us of her father's end-stage chronic liver condition and appealed for a liver donor.

Many readers responded to the Stomp article and wrote in with offers to help. Several also volunteered to donate their liver.

One of them is Mr Khairul, who was shocked by the sudden news of Mr Lee's death.

He said, "If there's any help needed, I'm still available."
