Discarded sofa at Hougang lift has clearly stood the test of time

Stomper Lau Lup found a decorated, old sofa left at a void deck opposite Serangoon Junior College in Hougang.

He found it last Friday (Oct 28) and deemed it as the 'most well-used and well-loved sofa in Hougang'.

The owner of the sofa has covered up the sofa's flaws with brightly coloured scotch tapes.

The Stomper said, "It's used until kao kao (worn out) already."

The reason the owner finally gave up the sofa remains a mystery.
