Boy showing off parkour moves at VivoCity is an accident waiting to happen
Stomper Bryan was at VivoCity when he saw a boy climbing up and down from the roof of the mall to the level below 'like a monkey' yesterday afternoon (Dec 11).
According to Bryan, the youth was practicing some parkour moves and looked to be around 18 or 19 years old.
Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing.
The sight concerned the Stomper who said:
"What if the children in the area wanted to follow his actions and ended up injuring themselves?
"I think it's a dangerous thing to do what more doing it in an area with so many children around."
