Security guard in China tries to block Mercedes by lying on road -- and gets run over
A security guard in China got run over by a Mercedes in the line of duty on May 23.
According to Shanghaiist, the incident occurred as the guard attempted to use his body to stop the car from entering a parking spot.
A video of the incident first shows the guard getting nudged by the Mercedes as he was standing in front of the car.
The guard for some reason then decided to lie right in front of the car in an attempt to prevent the driver from moving forward.
Instead of leaving the premises however, the driver of the Mercedes ran right over the guard.
The latter was dragged a few centimetres before the car ran over him completely.
Thankfully, the guard did not seem to be seriously injured after his ordeal.
